Jettribe at the Daytona Freeride 2016

1The Jettribe crew headed out east to Daytona Beach last Tuesday for the 2016 Daytona Freeride.  Their first stop was in Delray Beach, FL. on Wednesday where we had the pleasure of meeting up with Dave from Riva Motorsports.  He was kind enough to give us a tour of his awesome facility.   Thank you Dave for taking the time out of your busy day to meet with us.  After we visited Riva, we were off to pick up the Jettribe bus from Louis Milone.   Once everything was in order on the bus, the crew headed up highway 95 towards Daytona Beach.

5Thursday morning came quick and it was set up time.  We’d like to thank Brandon Lawlor and his brother for helping set up the canopy.   As Friday morning approached, we had a huge storm roll in.  The rain was very intense so we all waited around for there to be a break in the weather.  Once the weather broke around noon, riders and vendors raced to the beach and set up quickly.  What a great afternoon it turned out to be.  Saturday proved to be even more beautiful, complete with a huge raffle and a great pool party with duel riders back flipping simultaneously in the hotel pool.

Congratulations to Mark Gomez, Zack Bright and Ken Cupo for their wins in Surf & Style at  this year’s Daytona Freeride.

We want to give a huge thank you to Nick Foederer for the opportunity, once more, to come out and be a part of this awesome event.

And last but not least, the biggest thank you to the best helper we could have asked for this weekend, Laura Milone!  Welcome to the Jettribe Race Team.  Keep your eye on this girl as she is going to take this season of racing by storm!!!  And the Milone family, what can we say, but many many thanks for all you do!!

NEW!!!  JTG 15496 GRB 2.0 RACE BOOTS

Please note these boots run a half of a size too big. We highly recommend using our neoprene socks with these boots.
You have asked for a better riding boot? We at Jettribe have listened. After being on the APBA and IJSBA tour seeing racers and freestyle riders use various shoes from wrestling shoes to skate shoes? We are proud to release the our GRB 2.0 Race Boots. Second, The RS-15GRB 2.0 rubber soles are designed with three raised contact points accommodates a PWC riders aggressive stands. Most of the time we ride from ball of our feet and constancy switching our weight from the heel of our feet to our toes. Plus, the pre-curved sole with arch support allows maximum comfort! The sole wrap around the sides and toes limits the lateral side to side; movement of the riders feet. The extra high neoprene cut of the GRB 2.0 boot limits the rocks and gravel from getting in. It has a front zippered entry for easy slip on or off. Plus three adjustable velcro straps for a snug and better fit.

Jettribe – IJSBA World Finals in Lake Havasu!

Coming off your ski can sometimes be more painful than expected. So its always best to be extra cautious and prepare yourself with more safety gear than necessary.
Back deflectors or back protectors are a great way to help lessen the impact when you come off your ski. Jettribes back deflectors sit on the outside of your life vest and help to absorb the stock of an impact like a sponge.

PWCs are getting faster and more powerful every year. But in 2015, riders are still relying on motocross equipment not designed for PWC use to protect themselves from the hazards of high speed racing.

What’s wrong with that picture? At Jettribe, we believe that the dawn of a new era in PWC watersports is long overdue.

You don’t wear football helmets to ride motorcycles. Why would you wear motorcycle helmets to ride PWCs in the water?

Jettribe back deflectors have clear overlapping poly-carbonate panels to protect that ever so precious spine of yours.
